A Retro-Futuristic Visual Identity

Embracing the spirit of the 90s tech era, Ideometry designed a visual brand that paid homage to the pioneers of technology while projecting a future-forward mindset. The combination of retro elements and modern minimalism struck a balance that resonated with Companyon Ventures’ audience of today’s tech innovators.

Ideometry created new messaging guidelines centered around real-world outcomes and achievements. By highlighting success stories and the impact of Companyon’s strategic investments—backed by ongoing founder support—we demonstrated how Companyon drives growth and shapes the future of B2B software startups.

Modern-Classic Custom Icons and Imagery

Ideometry created a bold logo, attention-grabbing color palette, and eye-catching design elements, as well as custom illustrations and iconography, for Companyon’s website and marketing collateral. These were delivered along with branding guidelines and templates to ensure ease-of-use and consistency across platforms and materials. 

Custom illustrations and icons were designed based on the classic, minimal line icons from the Mac OS System 1—designed to be clean but visually interesting, symbolizing how far technology has come while still supporting the future-forward Companyon brand.

A Bold, Easy-to-Manage Website

Ideometry translated Companyon’s refreshed brand identity into an online experience with updated branding, intuitive navigation, and copy with a little bit of attitude. Developed in WordPress for flexibility, the new website was designed to be engaging on the frontend and easy-to-manage on the backend, with built-in scalability for future growth.

The Impact

Companyon Ventures’ rebranding, refreshed messaging, and website overhaul transformed their brand from the ground up.

This creative transformation resulted in more organic leads, as well as a better place to send prospective deal flow—which also increased, allowing Companyon to be more selective with their investments. In addition to loving the new brand and website, they appreciated the ability to remain self-sufficient when creating presentations and sales materials on the fly, using Ideometry’s customizable templates to craft their own collateral as needed.
