The Challenges

Synchronized Branding Across Mediums

With Symbotic’s web design process already in motion when we joined the scene, synchronization of branding across all platforms became essential to present a unified image to the world.

Understanding Established Brand Guidelines

The original website presented difficulties for users in finding relevant information and understanding the company’s offerings. It was crucial to address these navigation challenges and provide an intuitive user experience.

Symbotic informational graphic titled 'The Symbotic System,' detailing the product movement technology platform that combines physical structures with a fleet of autonomous robots and AI-driven software. The graphic is divided into sections such as 'Receiving,' 'Inbound Cell,' 'Store & Retrieve,' and 'Outbound Cell,' explaining the various processes involved in automating warehouse operations. At the bottom, key system benefits are listed, including lower operational costs, enhanced efficiency, and increased throughput. The Symbotic logo appears in the lower-right corner. Symbotic promotional flyer with the headline 'Reinvent the Warehouse, Reimagine the Supply Chain.' The flyer highlights the benefits of partnering with Symbotic, such as reduced costs, enhanced efficiency, and optimized space usage. It also features a section on 'High-Density, Store-Friendly Symbotic Pallets,' outlining their advantages, including fewer breaks, faster stocking, and reduced travel within the warehouse. A graphic of neatly stacked pallets with a silhouette of a person next to them illustrates the pallet system.

The Approach

Collaborative Alignment with Web Design Team

Establishing a partnership with Symbotic’s lead web designer, we ensured that every creative output mirrored the overarching brand theme, from color schemes to visual elements.

Symbotic promotional material featuring the headline 'Revolutionary Warehouse Automation' with supporting text describing A.I.-powered software and autonomous robots transforming warehouses. The Symbotic logo appears beneath the text, followed by three images: a green autonomous robot, a robotic arm moving boxes, and a warehouse filled with automated equipment. The bottom corner includes a call-to-action to visit Symbotic's website, along with a QR code for quick access. Two retractable banners for Symbotic, a company focused on robotics and automation. The banners display the Symbotic logo at the top, with images of robotic systems handling boxes in a warehouse setting. The left banner features a green robot on a conveyor system, while the right banner shows a robotic arm stacking boxes. Both banners incorporate green geometric line patterns at the bottom, complementing the industrial and futuristic theme of the design.

In-depth Branding Workshops

Through intensive sessions with key Symbotic personnel, like Kim, we delved deep into the brand’s core, ensuring our creative outputs aligned perfectly with their vision and guidelines.

Proactive Engagement and Feedback Loop

Recognizing the dynamic nature of Symbotic’s requirements, we implemented a proactive engagement model. Regular check-ins, iterative feedback, and agile adaptability allowed us to remain aligned with Symbotic’s vision, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality for all creative outputs.

Icons include a conveyor belt with packages, a delivery truck with a dollar sign, a car, warehouse shelves, a network diagram, stacked papers, a medical document with a shield, a bar chart with a person, an umbrella on a beach, a piggy bank, a shipping box network, a warehouse, a delivery truck, a storefront, and a fast-moving delivery van. The icons are simple and monochromatic, designed with minimalistic lines.

The Impact

As Symbotic ventured into the public domain, our collaborated efforts became integral in their transition. One notable achievement was the creation of videos discussing their public move, providing clarity and confidence to both internal and external stakeholders. Our engagement with Symbotic remains strong, reflecting the value and trust built over our partnership.
